 FAQs

  • Gently-used furniture is furniture that is still in good condition and has at least 2-3 years left in it to share with someone. This means upholstered furniture must be free of large stains, tears, or cat scratches. Thank you for your understanding!

  • Yes! Aren’t you excited you found a place to donate your guest bed or your college student’s bed?

We accept mattresses, box spings, bed frames, and accompanied head boards (if they are with the frame). All mattresses must be stain free and not saggy. :) Thanks for your help with this huge task!

  • Would you give your dresser or kitchen table to your niece or your neighbor?

If you answered yes- we probably want it too! Thank you for thinking of us!

  • Funny you should ask! The only way that this AMAZING organization exists is thanks to folks like you who read our FAQ!

We are ALWAYS looking for star volunteers in our offices, showroom, and warehouse.

Making a small or large monthly financial donation helps us keep our doors open, enabling us to make a small difference in our little corner of the world. We appreciate you!

Do you have a piece of furniture to donate? Or maybe your neighbor does! Spread the word that you can donate your gently-used furniture to the Pennsylvania Furniture Mission, rather than setting it on the curb with a FREE sign to later be rained on! Yikes!

  • Great question! Yes! We can provide estate cleanout services upon request depending on location and availability. Please call our offices for more information: 717-813-0771.
