Who We Are
The Pennsylvania Furniture Mission is a 501(c)3 non-profit serving Pennsylvania residents experiencing challenges related to living near or below the poverty line. We work to redirect gently-used, donated furniture to families in need, keeping usable furniture out of our landfills.
What We Do
We are dedicated to creating warm and welcoming homes for all Pennsylvania residents by providing free gently-used furniture to families and individuals in need. Pennsylvania Furniture Mission also seeks to create a more sustainable environment, and simultaneously allows clients to select their own furnishings.
We turn houses into homes.
Mission
Our mission is to create warm and welcoming homes across South Central Pennsylvania for families and individuals experiencing economic hardship or exiting homelessness, by providing an entire household of free gently-used furniture
Vision
Our vision is that no child in South Central PA will sleep on a cold floor, no family will eat off their laps, and every home will have a light to stave off the darkness.

We believe that we can and should reduce our state’s carbon footprint. We seek to not only assist families and individuals with physical resources, but also to enable the greater Pennsylvania region to divert usable furniture out of our landfills.
Giving Back To Our Community
Every piece of furniture we give away is a piece donated and saved from a landfill. Together with your donations, we not only help those facing poverty thrive, but also do our small part towards keeping our community green.
